What inspired us to create this project? We asked every professional musician we know, and this is what they told us…
Professional experienceI book my own band; we do not have a manager. Every musician in it also plays in three or four other bands, so whenever I want to close a date there may be fifteen or twenty other band calendars involved. I have to message everyone, make calls or ask in several groups. With every calendar synchronized in Live, closing a gig becomes one simple click. It saves me hours.

Yes. Live is 100% free and has no ads. We want you to organise your band without interruptions, subscriptions or hidden costs.
No, but it is strongly recommended. Registered members can answer gig offers, confirm availability and receive notifications automatically. If someone is not on Live, you will still need to call them or use messaging apps and other platforms, which brings back the same coordination headache.
Yes. You can create a professional profile and appear in searches from bands looking for musicians near your area. Finding new projects becomes much easier and much more fun.
You only need to accept or reject the performance. If you reject it and have a substitute available, the offer will pass to that person automatically. If not, you will need to find a replacement, and that is exactly what Live’s musician search is for.
Because messaging apps are for talking, while Live is for organising a band. Availability, gigs, members, files and notifications live in one place, avoiding lost messages, misunderstandings and hours of coordination.
No. Live is still in beta. We are actively building new features and improving the platform together with the musician community.
